Watchdog is built to need as little about you as possible. Here's everything.
Stored on your phone
Your teams, city or zip, TV setup and the services you pay for are saved in your browser on your device. They aren't sent to us as an account, and clearing your browser removes them.
What we receive
- Email, only if you give it, to send your plan, updates you asked for, or a feedback reply.
- Watch party RSVPs: your first name, and your email if you add it. We use the email only to tell you if that game's time, channel or place changes. It isn't added to any list, and we don't share it with the host or anyone else.
- Feedback you send, with your teams and device type so we can fix the problem.
- Visit counts through Cloudflare Web Analytics: pages viewed, rough country, device type and the site that linked you here. No cookies, no tracking across other sites.
- Usage events like "opened the paywall" or "tapped directions", tagged with the team and city you picked and the link that brought you here. Sent to PostHog, which stores them without your IP address. No name, no precise location, no screen recording.
- Your calendar link carries your setup so the feed can build your schedule. Anyone with that link can see that schedule, so share it with care.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We see your email and whether you've paid, never your card.
Who else touches it
Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions. Cloudflare counts visits. PostHog stores usage events. Stripe handles payments. Maps open in Apple Maps or Google Maps when you tap directions. Google Fonts serves the typefaces. We don't sell your data, and Watchdog has no ads.
Your choices
Use Watchdog without an email. Ask us to delete anything we hold by emailing us, and we will. Settings → Start over clears everything on your phone.
